I have been tutoring for 8 years now, and I absolutely love it. I believe that every student learns at their own pace, and for this reason, I am very patient. Patience is key when tutoring because it allows the student to be comfortable with the tutor and they learn more easily and quickly. I have tutored anywhere from elementary students to graduate level students, and have seen D's go to A's. I not only work on teaching the student the material, but teaching the student to approach school more confidently and to change his or her study habits if necessary for all other classes. I want to show students that it can be done, and I want them to see that it can be easy.
