I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. I like to start off with the basic skills of drawing, using a pencil, drawing lines, shapes and so forth, so the student can grasp the idea and feel at ease. I believe that everyone can be an artist, we just need the guidance and to learn your own nich in art. I've taught illustration to a college, entry level class in Peru. I have the privilege of speaking Spanish. I was able to teach this class my techinques and ways of utilizing material around you without spending so much money, since Art supplies can be very expensive. I've taught at the Boys & Girls club as a volunteer to kids from ages 6-17years old. I believe that creativity comes from within and we all have it. I enjoy working with kids of all ages. I recently graduated from California State University Northridge with my MA in Education and my Teaching Credentials. I like to teach the students a little bit of history behind Art so they can understand it better and get a well rounded understanding.
