Tutor Personal Information

I am a graduate of the University of South Florida. I have both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Physics. I was a Teaching Assistant for the three years of my graduate work. The duties of a Teaching Assistant include tutoring students in General Physics and teaching General Physics lab courses. I am comfortable communicating the concepts of Physics and Math to students that have some or no experience with this subject. I consistently received high marks on my teaching evaluations as graded by students. I also regularly had students inform me that at least part of their success in the lecture portion of the course was made possible with my help. I enjoy teaching people about Physics and Math. I feel that the tutoring format can allow someone to learn a subject in a more personal, less stressful environment where questions are more easily attended to and individual needs can be addressed.
Finally, I pursued Physics because I enjoy it, and I enjoy helping others enjoy it too!
