I have been a successful high school math tutor in Springfield, IL for the past 12 years. To me, tutoring math is a true passion and I enjoy tutoring a variety of subjects.
You will never see me put a student down for getting an answer wrong and most of my tutoring sessions are fun and full of positive reinforcement.
Yet, if I see a student that is not performing to his or her capabilities, I will both tell the student and notify the parents so that a positive adjustment can be made.
