I had the opportunity to tutor a group of incoming college freshmen at my University as a part of the EOF program (Equal Opportunity Fund). I was there to help them with Math (mainly pre-calculus), Chemistry, and Physics. They would work through their homework problems and I was readily available for any questions or guidance. If a group of students were having the same troubles with a subject, we would form a group and I would go back to the bascis, start from scratch. By doing so, most of the kids could understand how it was initially explained or they saw a new way of solving the problem.
