I received a score of 770 on the GMAT when I took it in 2009, which put me in the top 1 percent of all test takers. I received my B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2007 from UCLA. I am currently working towards an M.S. in Accounting at the University of Houston.

I have worked as a math and test prep tutor for the past five years. I started my company, Yeates Learning Center, in August 2011. My specialty is the GMAT, but I have also tutored many SAT and ACT students and helped them achieve higher scores. I have also tutored all levels of math from first grade arithmetic to 12th grade calculus. My GMAT students have regularly improved their scores at least 200 points after working with me. My students consistently find me approachable, friendly, and above all effective.

As a tutor, I strive to give students a solid grasp of the fundamental concepts they're learning as well as the idiosyncrasies of the tests themselves. I show you problems that are a lot easier than they look and other problems with traps you need to watch out for. I show you how to get the easy questions out of the way so you can tackle the hard ones and get the score you want. I also teach you how to overcome test anxiety that prevents you from doing your best. The more you can have fun with the test and enjoy the process, the better your score will be.
