Tutoring Style and/or Experience
I have a B.A in English/Journalism with a minor in French. I am a published journalist and poet, as well as having had corporate experience working in public relations and marketing for over 10 years.
I began teaching a the University of Delaware in the early '90s where I received a fellowhip for an M.A. in Foreign Languages and French Literature.I graduated with a 3.8 GPA and am a member of the French Honor Society.
I have taught both French and English at the high school and college level for over 15 years and have received excellent reviews for my dynamic and challenging teaching style. I also helped to set-up an ESL program for Delaware businesses and have also taught ESL for over 10 years. In addition to teaching high school and college courses, I currently run a tutoring and translation business teaching a variety of subjects. My students include teenagers who need help prepping for exams and/or just need extra help with their advanced classes. Another large part of my clientele include adults that are either attending college courses or who are simply planning on traveling to europe and would like language and cultural insights.
I am very flexible when it comes to payment and scheduling and often provide my clients with special deals to meet their needs.
