I am partially Socratic in an attempt to get the student to learn how to figure things out for themselves. Otherwise, I ask the student where the problems are and show them how to reach a solution then ask them to work a problem out with diminishing aid. I have tutored and taught Chemistry and Electronics at a local technical college for 16 years.

Recently, I have brought a C Physics student to an A, prepared a student for a great math SAT score. Another student has maintained As in Algebra, Chemistry and Physics.

I have helped a middle school Geometry student over the Summer of 2009 and now he is doing excellent work in Geometry during this 2009-2010 school year.

At the college level I have helped a student maintain B or better grades in all lower level engineering classes and some in upper division Civil Engineering.
