Tutoring Style and/or Experience
With my background in the field of education, I have skills that are helpful to you and your clients. I bring with me a variety of ways of clearly communicating my needs and the needs of others.
After an extensive and versatile employment career, I returned to finish my academic goals. During which I strengthened and added skills to my foundational gift. I did this by taking courses and workshops pertaining to computers, peer advising, peer educating, tutoring skills, reading skills, study skills, and student/community leadership. I also have access to a wide variety of community resources to help my peers and clients overcome some of the hurdles they encounter while striving towards their individual goals and dreams. All this information has given me many tools that prove useful to the student and community population at large.
My foundational gift is the breakdown and sharing of information with my peers and clients, and also helping them to retrieve that information fluently enough to present it to others. I have been sharing information with my peers and clients in terms they can understand since high school.
