I'm going to be a senior in high school, so my tutoring experience thus far has been either at summer camps or volunteering at my school. I've tutored many different subjects including French, Calculus, and Physics. As for tutoring style, I like to let students tackle a problem on their own before I guide them through it. Some of the kids I worked with had academic trouble as a result of a lack of confidence, but solving problems on their own helped them regain that. I love tutoring because it is so rewarding to see a child understand a concept that they had previously struggled with and to help them achieve academic success.
