I have tutored in both small group and individual settings. I have tutored reading (decoding), reading comprehension and writing at the K-12 levels, as well as ESL. I have tutored math at the K-8 levels, through basic geometry and Algebra I. I am a certified K-12 Business and Information Technology Teacher and have also tutored students in the use of Microsoft Office Software, and Dreamweaver, FrontPage, and Flash Web design software. I have worked in Middle School after school reading and math remediation programs for 5 years and have also worked at a tutoring center where I worked with students in grades K-12 on an individual basis. I prefer a tutoring environment with computer and Internet access in order to utilize technology and online tools which are applicable and helpful.
