My senior year of High School, I tutored girl in Chemistry. I would help answer her questions and give her problems to work on. The key aspect that needed to be worked on was practicing problems. Problems on tests are generally just like problems that have been assigned in class but they might require more in-depth thought. By practicing problems with guidance, it helps build confidence and helps the student learn how to work different problems.
