As a private tutor, I strive to enhance a child's education through understanding the individual talents that he/she possesses. Together we utilize these assets to raise achievement and build self esteem.

Teaching Philosophy: I believe that each child can learn and there is always another step on the stepping stone of life-long learning. As an educator, I value each student's individual needs. My instruction is always based on multiple assessments which are geared to finding a student's strengths and identifying their next steps. Every child has a unique learning style, I work to find how each student learns best and use a variety of teaching methods to match his/her style. In addition, I recognize the importance of emotional and social growth as well as academics. Building self-esteem and independence is a high priority in my work.
