I look to first establish a rapport with my students, learning a little about them and sharing a little about myself. I then spend time evaluating where the student has the most need (i.e. study skills, content, test-taking)and then draw up a flexible tutoring plan with the student's input. I have worked primarily with junior high, high school and adult (GED) students in my teaching/tutoring jobs. I have also taught nursing math to prospective LPN students. I am infinitely patient, I love to teach, and I love to learn. I have a good background in working with learning disabilities.
