Tutoring Style and/or Experience
--Tutoring Style and Beliefs--
I believe that sometimes the pace of classes can be fast or that the way teachers explain concepts may be fitting for one student and not for another. I personally believe that if taught in a way students can understand or relate to the material, the student will be able to grasp anything.
As a tutor, I will continue to focus on concepts until the student learns them because it is important and is necessary for advancing in that area of studies. I will work at the pace of the student and focus on their individual needs in doing well in the class and learning what is important.
--Tutoring Experience--
As far as experience, I have tutored in math, English, and lower levels of Japanese in high school. I have also been on the other end, where I have been tutored. I know from experience that some tutors do not care about their students and some tutors are not focused on helping the student.
I know the trust a parent and student places in a tutor, and I also know that the tutor is there to help the student. This is why I will do anything within my power to help the student.
--My ultimate goal is to help the student do well.--
