Tutor Personal Information

I am a fun, loving, energetic person whom enjoys working with all ages of children and any ability level.

I am a certified teacher, with majors in both Early Childhood Education (Pre-school - 3rd grade) and Elementary Education (K - 8th grade). I also have an AA degree with an emphasis in education and a partial Masters degree in special education.

Since graduating from college in March 2005, I substitute taught in four school districts, in all grades and subjects. I then was blessed with the opportunity to teach full time in a special education class, which was a pull-out program for students with learning disabilities, autism, and some behavior modifications. I then went on to teach full time in a first grade classroom, with 28 students. Lastly, I had the opportunity to substitute teach again, gaining and learning so much from different teachers and the several students I was blessed to interact with each day.

Currently, I am setting up a home-based daycare called Mustard Seed Child Development and Learning Center; caring for and providing educational opportunities to children 6 weeks to 11 years old.
