Tutoring Style and/or Experience
I am currently an Elementary Education major at Transylvania. I have about 5 years of private tutoring experience. I am available for all subject areas including project help, as well as for organization and study skills workshops. I have also conducted sessions for gifted students who are bored in class and are looking for highly enriching learning experiences. I have a spacious apartment in Lexington's historic district with room for interactive/hands-on learning experiences for those students who may find it difficult to sit still! I am also willing to drive to your own home for sessions at a slightly increased rate. Discounted rates are available for group sessions and pre-paid multiple sessions. Sessions run for 1 hour between 3:30 and 8:30pm M-Th. My philosophy is that learning should not be a chore and that every child deserves the chance to fall in love with learning about their world.
