Tutoring Style and/or Experience
I myself am a lifetime student. I love and enjoy school and many different subjects. However, I wasn't always that way. I know from experience not only the educational struggles of kids, teens and college students but also the social demands surrounding them that may be impacting their grades and their ability to learn. I think that to be a successful tutor you have to interact with the student on all levels. With this approach I have seen much more results that last much longer than normal tutoring. I not only want to help them pass a class that they are having difficulty in but also to teach them the skills needed to help break through difficulties they may encounter in the future. I have tutored for many different ages ranging from elementary through college. I like to make learning simple and to use tools to help break down complicated topics and subjects into smaller topics which are easier to understand. I have clinical work in different types of sciences, computer programming/software, and language.

| I have received recognition for much of my academic volunteer work and have spoken at colleges on some of my past experiences. My greatest award is seeing the report cards and the pride that the students I tutor have when they see an improvement in their grades. |
