Tutoring Style and/or Experience
Tutoring is something I do in my spare time, up to this point I haven't done it for personal gain, but I now need money. I figure $10/hour to $20/hour is fair. The pricing is dependent on the complexity of subject matter, to the tune of $10/hour for simple math and $20/hour for thermodynamics.
I don't have any set style or approach when tutoring, everyone's different and as a result learn things better through differing means/ pathways. I simply try to discover the way a student learns the most efficiently and utilize that in getting them to understand the topic(s) at hand. I don't think I'd be of much help to people if I had a set formula, being that the sole purpose of a tutor is personalized attention and instruction.
