I tutored Latin in college a number of years ago, and taught intoductory humanities at the college level for a short time after getting my MA. I've been an officially authorized Latin translator for the federal government (Social Security Administration) for over 10 years (translating religious documents for proof of age, proof of marriage, etc). Most recently, I tutored and mentored for Youth Friends in Liberty, MO for 2 years before other commitments made me quit a year ago.
At the moment, I'm improving my speaking skill in Latin through a home-study immersion program (Rosetta Stone). In a few months, I plan to use Rosetta Stone again to refresh my abilities in Hellenic (Greek). I've taken the opportunity to tour Italy and Greece twice in the past 3 years. I hope to start teaching college again in a few years, after I leave civil service.
