Tutoring Style and/or Experience
I graduated from Harvard in 4 years, Phi Beta Kappa, with a Bachelor's in Psychology and Master's in History of Science, while completing a minor in language and all pre-med coursework. I am currently at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
I enjoy working with high school and college students in many subject areas, specializing in the college admissions process of preparing students through application essays, resumes, and mock interviews.
My relevant experience includes serving as an instructor at the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, a Faculty Associate at Peabody Conservatory, and a Harvard University admissions committee interviewer, and a Final judge for the 2006 All-USA College Academic Team.
Honors include All-USA College Academic First Team, one of 20 in nation; All-USA High School Academic First Team, one of 20 in nation; Advanced Placement National Scholar; Advanced Placement New York State Scholar, two selected from each state; Coca-Cola National Scholar, winner of a $20,000 scholarship, one of 52 in nation.
