Tutoring Style and/or Experience
I have had two jobs as a tutor. First, I worked with Boston University in their Test-Prep Program doing mostly SAT and GRE test preparation. There I taught classes between 1 and 30 students in size both general test taking skills and specific subject preparation (Math, Verbal, Analytical). I have also had my own private tutoring practise where I tutored students individually. I am very flexible and will adapt my style to fit the abilities of my students. I am detail oriented and quite thorough, and I ask that my students realize that if they are not prepared to work with me, there will be very little I can do for them. I find that tutoring sessions are most useful when longer than an hour, but I am very willing to work within the time and financial constraints of my clients.
