I feel that, regardless of academic level, each and every student is capable of achieving their goals and dreams.
My job is to help them find the best way to use their strengths to maximize their learning potential, while developing the skills they need to compensate effectively for any weaknesses. My tutoring style is to identify those strengths and weaknesses, any missing blocks of knowledge, and guide the student toward personal independence in learning while directing them to the knowledge blocks they are missing to succeed in their current classes.

I am a Special Education teacher with a Master's Degree from NMSU, and the mother of two children, one with special needs.
I have also tutored students from all academic levels, including special ed, those in regular ed in need of
remediation, and gifted students seeking enrichment. I have taught introductory violin and piano.
