Tutoring Style and/or Experience
I am a student who is currently attending community college but will begin courses at UCLA in the fall of 2002. I enjoy learning and believe this enables me to effectively help others to learn. I try to provide a pleasant, pressure-free environment where students will take pride in their work. I emphasize study skills and encourage creativity. I work equally well with individual students or groups of students. Some of my unique methods of instruction have included: using board games to teach mathematics, using a swimming pool to teach grammar, and using cartoons to teach science. I am willing to cover any subject and my schedule makes it possible to accomidate almost any student's needs. I have worked perviously with four students, each in a relatively long-term situation.
