I have a varied educational and professional background. I have a BFA with a concentration in drama and elementary education. I have taught students ranging from pre-schoolers to adult students. I have taught in social service agencies, schools, and in the corporate environment for over 25 years.

I have been employed for the past 18 months as a teacher/tutor for a nationally known test prep company.

It would be a conflict of interest for me to tutor test prep but I am capable of teaching/tutoring the different subject areas that I have listed.

I have a friendly relaxed style with students. I focus on the individual and how determine the best learning style for each one. I develop a comprehensive individual learning program that consists of concept and technique review with examples and drills.

I believe that learning really is fun and that, patience and humor, are equally important in the learning environment.
