I tutor dedicated high achievers who are struggling with mathematics or English language acquisition. If you have a gifted student who hasn't quite gotten into his/her groove with studying I can teach your child to study more effectively.

If you have a child in Middle School through High School who has missed extensive school due to medical treatment related to a physical disability or traumatic illness and your child is not working well with the district tutor I can work with parent, child and tutor to boost the child's achievement.

If you are struggling with home-schooling a bright child in the physical or life sciences I can help.

If you are returning to school, after a long hiatus, I can work with you to unlock your strengths to reach your full potential pursuing a college degree.

If you are a professional or visiting scholar who would like to learn ESL for a specific purpose such as the physical or life sciences or medical professions, plus some engineering, economics, statistics and math, I can work with you on your conversational English skills.

I have limited spots for tutoring qualified gifted students in low-income and AFDC families. Verification and school recommendations required.

Many of these students continued in college and in higher math courses and one student went from remedial beginning algebra to transfer as a junior to Berkeley's School of Engineering.
