My students' learning needs and goals are my top priority. Everyone has a different learning style, and it's my job to find out what that style is and to explain the subject matter in just the right way for the student to understand it. I will also help the student with his/her study and test preparation skills in the subject area so that he/she will get the best grades possible -- and even have fun doing so! I have over 30 years' experience in teaching and tutoring, over 15 years' experience as a freelance proofreader and copy editor, and have a working familiarity with various style manuals, including MLA, APA, Chicago, Associated Press, and various others.

My areas of expertise include English (Conversational ESL, Business ESL, English writing skills), German, and French.
