Tutor Personal Information

First, I have about 500 hours experience as a tutor, during my undergraduate schooling. This continued through graduate school. I've extensive experience teaching students from age 8 to 72, and have taught math, physics and astronomy for the last nine years at the community college, including a video-less distance-learning physics course. I am very technologically savvy, and have many ways to reach students. My teaching style is highly socratic, so even in my college lecture classes, I maintain close connections with each of my students, and have a strong skill for getting students to think out loud. I believe in whole brain learning (visual, audio, verbal, kinesthetic), and in fact my verbal skills are stronger than my math skills. English is my first language.
