In my desire to acquire experience in the elementary school setting, I've been volunteering and working as a Teacher's Aide and tutor in public/private schools and for families in the Long Beach and Los Angeles area since 1989. I mainly tutored children having difficulties with Math or those who need to catch up with their class in reading proficiency. I have my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies (for elementary teaching) and I've worked for the Long Beach Unified School District as a Substitute Teacher.
