I believe in determining exactly how a student learns and adjusting my teaching methods to that student's learning style. I feel that guiding a student through an entire assignment is essential rather than just focusing on a single problem. I am currently attending Augsburg College to obtain my teaching license in secondary education with a focus on social studies. I will complete my studies in March, 2001 at which time I will begin student teaching. This upcoming fall, I will be substitute teaching. I received my B.A. from the
U of MN with a double major in History and Chicano Studies. I also have a paralegal degree and have taken several government courses.
