I have been teaching 11 years now. It is important for students to able to ask questions and think through problems with some assistance. Students learn math by doing, not by listening and watching. I have a 100% virtual online classroom in which students are given the opportunity to interact via the internet one on one with me. They will get the use the one medium they love the most to learn the subject that is most challenging for them. I ask a lot of questions to students to make sense of the math. They will soon realize their homework was not as hard as they were making it out to be. Before long, they will more confident and competent in math and their self-esteem will improve tremendously.
