I am currently working as a professional tutoring in a college setting. I lead study groups and individual tutoring sessions for college courses in Introductory Biology, Ecology, Human Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, and Medical Terminology. I focus on teaching students the skills that they need to succeed in science courses while reviewing the concepts at the same time. My goal is to teach students to be self-sufficient and learn how to learn, even if it means that I work myself out of a job. The success of my students is the most important thing to me. Before becoming a professional tutor, I taught Introductory Biology, Human Biology, and Anatomy and Physiology at a community college so I have an excellent perspective into what college professors expect for their students. While completing my degree I also tutored high school students in biology and chemistry, so I am familiar with high school curriculum as well.
