I love Latin. When I was young I watched movies set in ancient times and fell in love with ancient Rome. I didn't get to study the Latin language until college, when a non-credit course became available. We only covered a few chapters in our textbook, but I finished it on my own. I ended up qualifying for advanced Latin clasees at a university. The head of the Classics Department told me I was one of only two students she'd ever had who was able to score 100% on her tests, and she'd been teaching for 30 years.

I love the language, the words, the grammar; all those little details that drive some people crazy, they delight me. I can help you sort through word gender, case, voice, tense. I can show you how to get higher grades on your tests. I can help you see the value of learning Latin, how it will help you in so many other areas of your life. I believe my love for the Latin language is infectious and will wash over you.

When I was in fourth grade I helped sixth graders with their homework. I was a student teacher in high school. I've worked as a substitute teacher and a professional in-home tutor.
