Tutoring Style and/or Experience

I spent a year at a boarding school in Rome, and have completed two semesters of college level Italian. My teachers always praised my accent and fluency, as well as my spelling.

When first meeting a prospective student, I assess their strengths and weaknesses in the subject, the goal they are looking to accomplish over time, and what issues need immediate attention. For instance, if a student has the most difficulty with grammar or spelling, I would have them focus on writing and reading Italian. If their problem is fluency, we would converse frequently.

I am very good at explaining a point in several different ways, suited to the needs of the student. I enjoy teaching others new skills. I can accommodate to any budget. The most important thing is that I can help someone to love Italian as much as I do!
