My tutoring style is to determine what motivates my students to succeed and use those things to help the pupils excel, set high expectations for my students, employ humor and games to make learning fun, and deliver differentiated, research-based instruction. I have tutored a third grade student in English, math and problem-solving skills. I have tutored adults in writing. I now teach life skills to elementary-age students with special needs for Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 in York. I used to teach English and science to middle-high school students with behavior issues for Manito Inc. in Harrisburg. I used to teach first grade with St. Rose of Lima School in Thomasville, York County. I have a Master of Education degree and certificates to teach elementary education, special education and middle school English.
