Tutoring Style and/or Experience
It is important to emphasize both oral (out loud) and written skills. My students practice conversation along with grammar. I include cultural information, music, and literature whenever possible. I have extensive experience in using Spanish abroad (Peru, Spain, Cuba) and in health care (I am an RN). My master's degree in Spanish is from Southern CT State University. I have taught Spanish to pre-schoolers, to middle- and high-school students, and to nursing students. I have recently gotten my initial certificate in medical interpreting.
