Tutoring Style and/or Experience

I am in my 9th year as a high school physics teacher. I taught for 4 years in South Central Pennsylvania, and am in my 5th year in the Rochester, NY area.

I was a physics major in college, and I primarily teach Regents Physics (College Prep), Honors Physics (Comparable to AP B Physics, though we don't do thermodynamics or fluids in the course). I have also taught AP Physics C (Mechanics and EM).

At this point, I am mostly experimenting with online tutoring. I am willing to tutor locally, but I am interested in tutoring 'virtually' using my Tablet PC and Skype. If I am the only one writing, I'd use a screencast of Microsoft One Note. If you'd like to write and have a Tablet PC (or Wacomb Bamboo or similar input device), we can use the free website www.Scriblink.com as a virtual whiteboard where we can both write. I used to tutor a lot more before my young daughter was born. Now I am generally only available from about 3:30 to 5 EST and 8 to 11 EST. I typically charge $50/hr when I tutor in person, but I'm thinking of charging more like $40/hr. It doesn't matter to me whether there is one student or multiple students at the other end. In fact using the www.Scriblink.com whiteboard, students can be in different states.
