A tutor can really make a difference in a child's life and that is why I love the field. What a joy to see children of all ages improve and gain self confidence. Of course, I work with adults too-especially those who are seeking to better their English skills.

I received my masters degree in teaching from Marygrove College which emphasized reaching out to all learners in different modalities and styles. My work in the Teaneck School District as a full-time teacher also reinforced that each child can succeed when given the proper individualized instruction that works best for them.

My friendly warm style seems to be welcome-so it won't be a battle for you to get your child to work with me. Your child will get a sense that I care about them as a whole person. Why? Because I really do!! Also, by learning about their interests, I can often incorporate them in the sessions. When kids see the connections between what they love doing and their school work, excitement about learning takes place!
