Tutoring Style and/or Experience
While in college, I had an opportunity to tutor a 1st grade girl in spelling. She was a very active little girl, but with some techniques, I was able to help her with her spelling in only a few sessions. After seeing the girl improve so much, I decided to try to start tutoring more. After graduating from Bible College in Oklahoma City, I graduated with a Christian Elementary Education Bachelors Degree. I then had the priviledge of tutoring various students in a Christian School for reading, letter recognition, english, and social studies. In the past 2 years, I have been able to teach a 1st grade girl to read and help another 3rd grade girl improve and learn her Multiplication Tables as well as beginning division. Both girls are doing very well as I continue to oversee their learning and coaching them along the way.
