Experience:

I have worked with seven third graders, who were at different levels in their knowledge of reading for nine months. I helped each student improve their skill of writing, helped each student with reading comprehension, and helped them master grammar.

I have scored Advanced in Reading/English for five years.
In the fall of 2010, I took an assessment which I scored college level for Reading/English.

My main goals are:
-Make sure each student has mastered the material before moving on. I move at the students pace, not mine.
-Improve organizational skills. When you are organized, you are much more successful at everything that you do.
-Improve study skills. If you have the proper skills to study for a test, chances are, you will ace your test/quiz.
-Help encourage the student to succeed in their education.

Before the student moves on, I give a short test to ensure that they know and understand the material.

Each student is different in their style of learning. Before I begin to work with your child, I will determine the learning style he/she has.

It doesn't matter if your child is homeschooled, gifted etc. I'm willing to work with a child at any level.
