I am the Editor-in-Chief of my university's newspaper and so have a lot of experience with writing, journalism and editing. I am also an employed writing tutor at my university--assisting undergraduate students with their essays/papers. I also have experience with students whose first language is one other than English.Tutoring style: I prefer to edit writing material through the use of Microsoft Word's editing tool, in which I provide detailed comments on various aspects of the paper that may need improvement. (I clearly mention what the problem is and HOW it can be fixed in the right-hand margin and within the paper itself.)I am also available to explain any changes made, via-phone if necessary.
