My name is Sahil Fakih. I have an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. For over 5 years I have worked for a technology company as Director of Financial Operations. In this position, I have held overall authority for the accounting and financial operations of the organization including General Journal Production, GAAP compliance, Subsidiary Ledger Reconciliation, Monthly Closing of Books of Record, Financial Statements Preparation, Financial Reporting, Budget Preparation and Administration, Variance Analysis, Cost Accounting and Management Reporting.

My teaching philosophy is to ensure that my students gain a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of accounting on which we can then build the academic requirements of the accounting coursework. I really enjoy teaching and I strive hard to ensure that my students have fun learning. My tutoring fees are $40/hr for short engagements and $35/hr for 10 sessions or more.
