Tutor Personal Information

My teaching philosophy is that any student can learn given the proper teaching method. I try to find the way each of my students learns best.

I have now tutored for 10 years in all areas of math and science with students from the 2nd grade to first year of college. Many of my former high school students are now having success in college. I have tutored for both A to Z In-Home Tutoring and Club Z mainly in the No Child Left Behind Program.

I completed teacher education in mathematics & science from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. I completed teacher education in technology in Mississippi. I have a Bachelor of Science in physics from the University of Charleston in West Virginia. I also attend West Virginia Institute of Technology studying Electrical Engineering and Electronic Technology. I have done graduate work at the University of Memphis in mathematics, programming, and education. My teacher certification was in physics. I have taught high school algebra, geometry, science, chemistry, and biology at the Memphis City Schools. I taught Electronic Communications at Coahoma Community College located at Clarksdale, Mississippi. I have taught Computer Service Technician at the Memphis Job Corps.
