Iam currently certified to teach grades 7-12 Integrated social studies, which includes American Gevernment, United States and World History, Economics, Sociology, and Psychology, as well as general civics and social studies. I have previous experiance as both a teacher in a brick and mortar school, and as an online instructor. I have worked with special needs students extensively in the past, and feel very comfortable with them. I much prefer to work in a local library or coffee shop as opposed to in the student's home I feel that this limits potential destractions and allows the student and I to focus on the material. In addition to being a teacher I am the mother of four children between the ages of 4 and 12. My own children have some special needs some academically and some physically so I understand what the children need from both a parent's and teacher's perspective. I tend to think creatively and can adapt easily.
