I am an experienced, full-time Language Arts tutor currently tutoring students from 6th grade level up to college level in Honolulu.

Tutored curriculum include vocabulary, spelling, grammar, reading comprehension, inferences, summarization, response papers, pronunciation, and conventions of different types of writing. I also help students overcome learning obstacles on their way to acquiring specific skills.

I put the needs of each individual student first and tailor my lesson plans and tutoring techniques to their needs.

I graduated cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelors in Communications in 2006.

I have tutored students from low-income families in underfunded schools, failing students in need of remedial tutoring, ESL students, and Special Education students. I speak some Cantonese, Spanish, and Mandarin as well.

We can meet at any place you'd like. Common tutoring locations include fast-food restaurants (like McDonald's), libraries, students homes, and coffee shops- basically any quiet indoor location.
