Tutor Personal Information

I believe in one-on-one tutorials using multiple modalities to reach each individual person based upon their particular learning styles. I think that learning should be engaging to the student and that creating relevant, authentic contexts for the lesson makes them more easily accessible to the student.

I currently teach AP physics B, Pre-AP (Honors) Physics, and Physics 1. In the past, I have taught AP Biology, Pre-AP (Honors) Chemistry, Biology 1, Chemistry 1, and astronomy. My students have demonstrated very good passing rates on the AP Physics B examination and the science portion of the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills.
