Dr Steven C. Tutor Profile
Tutor Personal Information
Tutoring Style and/or Experience
I've worked as a researcher, software developer, website developer, technical writer, textbook editor, project manager, and consultant. I've taught mathematics and computer science at the elementary, secondary, undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education levels at public, private, and charter schools and at local colleges and universities, including Boston University, Northeastern University, and the University of Massachusetts. I enjoy working one-on-one with students, and they seem to enjoy working with me as well.
'Steven was very low key and astute in picking up areas that need addressing. He immediately started working on skills and was prompt and respectful of schedules! We look forward to our next session.' - Marilyn K. from Needham, MA
'Steven Cushing is a superb tutor. He is not only quite knowledgeable about the science of statistics, but he is also quite effective at explaining the statistical implications in layman's terms. In short, he is an excellent teacher who makes the subjects of statistical research comprehensible to anyone. He is highly recommended!' - Lisa R. from Sharon, MA
