I am a certified teacher with a Masters degree in Education, who strives to bring out the best in each and every student. I believe that through the mastery of reading and writing, success can be achieved in every subject.
Even though I work with students online, I prefer to work with students in reserved study rooms at local libraries.
Besides teaching English, literature and reading, I teach writing of fiction and non-fiction to those students interested in writing. I work with them through the entire writing process to bring their dream of publication to fullfillment.
I do not charge an hourly rate for tutoring. I charge a ninety minute rate and divide the tutoring session into three parts. The first part is instruction. The second is independent practice, where the student will apply what they have learned. The third part is for questions and guided corrections.
This enables the students to make the most out of their experience.
I have experience with students of all ages and all levels, from Elementary to Adult. I have worked with ESL students and also students working towards their GED. I would be glad to work with you to achieve your goals.
