I have a Math/Computer Science degree and am a full-time certified Math Teacher with Dekalb County Public Schools. My experience as an educator includes not only teaching in high schools, colleges and universities but also at a corporate level. Additionally, I have developed the student coursework and evaluation material for numerous courses and also developed the coursework to “train the trainer.” In addition, I have worked with the youth through church and I am the mother of 2 high school students and 1 college student. I have tutored numerous students over the years and my style is to individualize the training and identify areas that the student is struggling with. I have often found that a weakness in a core area such as fractions can cause major difficulties in all areas of Math and when those areas are corrected many other concepts fall into place. I firmly believe everyone CAN DO MATH and I work hard to make sure the students UNDERSTAND it and don't just memorize it.
