Tutoring Style and/or Experience
Hello potential students,
I am a friendly, engaging, and committed tutor who loves to help students achieve their academic goals. I have previously tutored college and high school students in literary analysis, writing, and religious studies. I also have some training in philosophy and journalism. Most of my experience has been with helping students improve their learning level and academic performance in the courses they are taking. I am also available to design a program of study for increasing knowledge in literature, writing, philosophy, and religion for those so desiring. My aim is to help you meet your goals, whatever they may be!
Generally, tutoring sessions last for one hour and consist of discussion and cooperative editing of assignments. Tutoring sessions with students not currently taking a school course, but who are interested in learning more about a subject, will be conducted in a manner appropriate to the course of study, such as through discussing readings and going over factual information.
I greatly look forward to getting to know you! As for me, I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Theology. I graduated from Rochester College in December 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Composition, and was blessed with numerous academic recognitions and awards while there. My minors were in philosophy and religion. I care deeply about education, and am excited to help you as you pursue your interests and goals!
